Our Founders

Founded by Ivory and Thea Dennard, Intentionally Great Learning Center is a Christ-centered learning center created to give families an educational choice that prioritize Christian values and academic excellence.

IGLC began as a vision in 2017, inspired by the founders’ deep passion for helping students succeed. Through their afterschool and sports training programs, they saw firsthand the incredible potential in every child and felt called to create something more impactful.

When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted education, the need for a solution became even more urgent. Too many students in their community were falling behind in reading and math, while parents struggled to find effective support. Determined to answer this need, the founders committed to building a transformative learning experience—one rooted in both innovative education and the love of Jesus.

Co-Founder & Executive Director

Thea Dennard the founder and Executive Director of Intentionally Great. With over 16 years of experience, she has empowered children and families through early childhood education and youth development. Thea is passionate about building confidence, resilience, and opportunity for every child.

As a mother of three, her advocacy runs deep, shaping programs that develop bold, responsible, and kind young leaders. She and her husband, Ivory “Coach D” Dennard, are raising their three sons to walk in purpose—just as she does every day.
